In the 1980s Brian ODea was a hugely successful drug smuggler, profiting over $100 million annually. After a failed attempt to catch ODea, federal prosecutors took three years building a case. During that time ODea turned over a new leaf: he left the smuggling business, kicked his cocaine habit and became an inspirational speaker to drug addicts. Nevertheless, ODea was charged and sentenced for smuggling more than 75 tonnes of marijuana into the U.S.
